About the Opportunity

This PhD scholarship is an integral part of a Discovery Early Career Researcher Award project, Hydrogen Hub Futures. The project critically examines the emerging hydrogen industry in Australia and its impact on regional communities.

The successful applicant will contribute to the wider project while undertaking their own distinct PhD project. The specific focus of the PhD project is open to negotiation, with options including extended ethnographic fieldwork in a potential Australian community or exploring broader issues associated with the hydrogen sector.
