About the Role

As a UX Researcher, you will drive strategy and oversee user experience and customer research. You will lead the UX Laboratory and coach internal teams for product development.

This role forms part of a high-performing team, leveraging technical expertise for outstanding consumer experiences.

The ideal candidate is a proven UX researcher from retail or agency environments who can influence effectively across complex organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and prioritise research opportunities.
  • Lead 'customer first' design to keep customers at the heart of digital transformation.
  • Implement research methodologies to execute studies driving tactical and strategic design decisions.
  • Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of the customer experience.
  • Collect and analyse user behaviour through laboratory studies and online experiments.
  • Report and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Understand and incorporate technical and business requirements into customer research.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of user-research documentation.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Sound business acumen with an analytical solution-orientated approach.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
