Occupational Therapist Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Tamworth, Kamilaroi Country. With the opportunity to work with diverse clients, including adults and children with physical or intellectual disabilities, this role will offer you a challenging and rewarding experience.
About the RoleThis position is part of our Occupational Therapy team, providing evidence-based clinical services to clients across various settings, including homes, community spaces, and our office. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive functional capacity assessments, leading and mentoring the Occupational Therapy team, and planning professional development training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:- Evidence-based clinical service delivery, incorporating specialised interventions, assessments, home modifications, and prescription of assistive technology.
- Comprehensive functional capacity assessments.
- Leadership and mentoring of the Occupational Therapy team.
- Provision of consultation and support to the wider multi-disciplinary team.
- Planning of professional development training sessions for the team.
