We're seeking a talented Assistant Retail Store Manager to join our team at Portmans in Brisbane CBD. As a key member of our store management team, you'll play a crucial role in driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and developing your leadership skills.

About the Role

  • You'll work closely with the Store Manager to maximize sales opportunities through coaching, development, and feedback to your team.
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective visual merchandising strategies, managing stock levels, and promoting brand awareness.
  • Develop and maintain a safe working environment for your team and customers, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Act as Store Manager when required, including opening and closing the store, and manage daily operations effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a unique experience for every Portmans customer.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience, preferably in a retail environment, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing high-performing teams.
  • Confidence in providing constructive feedback and praise to your team members.
  • Ability to create an engaging shopping experience for customers, showcasing your knowledge of visual merchandising principles.
  • Familiarity with loss prevention and health and safety practices, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
