As the Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and increasing market share for Greyhound Australia's renowned travel and tourism offerings. This leadership position requires a strategic and results-driven individual to guide a high-performing sales team in promoting and selling Greyhound's products and services to domestic & international agents, customers, and key trade partners across wholesale and retail channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute Greyhound Australia's strategic sales plan to maximize revenue growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners, inbound operators, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and profit targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies to respond to emerging market trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop impactful campaigns and retail activations that drive customer engagement.
  • Provide insightful market analysis, reports, and forecasts to the executive team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal company policies.

With a deep understanding of the Australian tourism market, you'll bring strategic thinking to capitalize on emerging opportunities while tracking performance to ensure success.

Adaptable and resourceful, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your financial acumen to manage budgets and forecasts effectively.

Your proven success in meeting and achieving sales targets ideally within tourism or hospitality will be underpinned by exceptional leadership, communication skills, and a knack for data-driven decision-making.

A network of industry relationships and a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential) will round out your expertise.
