Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing clear lines of communication with clients and gathering market intelligence on commodities industry activity.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with clients to ensure daily operations run smoothly;
- Gather market intelligence on commodities industry activity;
- Participate in tender and major contract negotiations relating to your specific customer base;
- Project manage off-site processing, loading and transport of metals from time to time in consultation with the relevant stakeholders;
- Grow market share by telephone and face-to-face meetings with potential clients.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or related sales experience;
- Excellent verbal communication skills;
- Built and maintained effective relationships across all levels of the business and external supplier base;
- Exercise proven negotiation skills and able to close deals;
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
