About Our Family Support Initiative

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and grow family support initiatives across Queensland.

This role involves developing and implementing family support strategies, providing guidance and supervision to staff delivering family support services, engaging with families to identify their strengths, needs, and goals, and building strong community partnerships to enhance service delivery.

  • Develop and implement family support and placement support strategies.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to staff delivering family support services.
  • Engage with families to identify their strengths, needs, and goals.
  • Build strong community and sector partnerships.
  • Contribute to service development, reporting, and compliance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have :

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in family support, child protection, or related services.
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to motivate and support teams.
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Understanding of cultural competency and commitment to working alongside First Nations families and communities.
