About the Role

Project leaders are at the heart of every client engagement, playing a critical role in delivering results that exceed expectations.

We're seeking an experienced project leader to join our public sector team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day delivery with the client team, generating insights and value for the client, and ensuring buy-in, understanding, and transfer of capabilities to our client teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day delivery with the client team, focused on generating insight and value for the client
  • Lead a team of consultants to deliver research, insight, and answer development for each engagement
  • Coach, mentor, and develop each member of the team
  • Actively engage global topic leaders to leverage 'Best of BCG' expertise and knowledge for the client
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

6-8+ years experience of relevant work experience, ideally at least 2-3 years in industry and/or management consulting aligned to public sector or defence topics or large scale capital delivery in industrial goods

Dedicated experience and expertise in one or multiple of the following areas:

  • Acquisition program delivery
  • Strategy formulation & execution
  • Complex scenario analysis and problem solving
  • Climate & sustainability
  • People and organization
  • Complex organizational change
  • Future of Work

A proven track record of leading and managing high performing case/project teams, thriving in a hypothesis-based environment, and ability to frame strategic challenges from a digital/tech perspective

Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability, and conceptual thinking, excellent communication, story-lining, client facing, and consulting skills

A willingness to challenge the status quo, leveraging both government/defence and private sector expertise to drive performance improvement
