Director Of Co-Curricular Education

CGS is seeking an exceptional leader to join its Executive Leadership Team and shape the strategic vision, coherence, and quality of its co-curricular life.

About The Role

This is a rare opportunity to lead an exceptional portfolio that inspires identity, belonging, leadership, and excellence in the lives of students.

  • Lead and oversee CGS Music, Sport, Outdoor Education, and Clubs and Enrichment programmes ensuring they are vibrant, inclusive, and aligned to the School's mission and values.
  • Responsible for the strategic development, quality assurance, staffing, and long-term planning of these programmes ensuring they not only enhance student learning but also foster wellbeing, teamwork, and personal growth.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement initiatives, deliver projects, and manage change.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage, influence, and build constructive relationships.
  • A clear record of supporting the intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and ethical development of students.
  • Proven ability to articulate a clear vision, provide strategic direction, and inspire trust and confidence through empathetic and relational leadership, fostering collaboration and shared purpose.
  • High professional standards, emotional intelligence, and discretion.
  • Proven ability to inspire, engage, and unify diverse groups.
  • Proven experience in strategic leadership within a complex educational environment.
