Director of Co-Curricular Education

The Director of Co-Curricular Education plays a vital role in shaping the strategic vision, coherence, and quality of co-curricular life.

  • Lead and oversee music, sport, outdoor education, and clubs and enrichment programmes.
  • Energize these programmes to be vibrant, inclusive, and aligned to the school's mission and values.
  • Develop and implement strategies for staffing, long-term planning, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with Heads of Primary and Senior School to integrate co-curricular initiatives with student development, pastoral care, and academic outcomes.
  • Ensure oversight for safety, compliance, partnerships, and business development within the portfolio.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate collaborative skills when working with team members.
  • Proven ability to implement initiatives, deliver projects, and manage change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage, influence, and build constructive relationships.
  • Clear record of supporting student development, including intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and ethical growth.
  • Proven experience in strategic leadership within a complex educational environment.
  • Sound understanding of financial and budgetary requirements, as well as legal requirements for payment of wages, allowances, and salaries.
