Job Overview

We seek an accomplished professional to develop and manage transition plans for strategic projects, business-driven projects, site moves, and IT Sustainment initiatives as a key contributor in our Technology Operations team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing comprehensive transition plans to ensure all operational aspects are covered and monitored effectively.
  • Engaging stakeholders to understand their needs and ensuring requirements are met during the transition process.
  • Identifying potential risks associated with the transition and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintaining clear communication, ensuring training occurs for all parties involved in the transition.
  • Driving knowledge management practices across Technology for transition processes, plans, procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving the transition process and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring IT assets are transitioned to Technology Owners and comply with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience working within an IT Service Management specific role or technology team actively using ITSM principles.
  • Strong project management skills, including familiarity with methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Expertise in change management principles and practices.
  • Expertise working in Technology in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Deep proficiency in creating comprehensive documentation of transition plans, processes, training, and outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information to all parties involved in the transition.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and requirements, staying flexible and responsive.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, looking for ways to enhance transition processes and outcomes.
