Energy Transition Specialist

Australia is at the forefront of the global energy transition, and our company plays a pivotal role in shaping this future. Our team partners with governments to deliver critical infrastructure programs that are driving the country's net-zero energy system.

About the Role:
  • Establishing trust-based relationships with private sector investors to inform tender and product design refinements
  • Collaborating with government partners to develop commercial products and contracts for energy infrastructure projects
  • Designing and delivering tenders for the procurement of energy infrastructure in NSW
About the Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Supporting senior managers in planning and delivering aspects of company tenders, including commercial designs, tender collateral, and financial assessments
  • Preparing high-quality written materials to facilitate tenders and educate stakeholders
  • Undertaking advanced commercial and financial analysis before and during assessment, including policy positions with high levels of uncertainty
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in complex infrastructure project delivery or financing, preferably in the private sector or government
  • Exceptional skills in drafting, delivering, and reviewing complex documents, financial models, and energy market analysis
  • Education qualifications in engineering, finance, law, economics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and modelling, with knowledge of Python desirable
