Our organization is seeking a talented Cost Optimization Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on our financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Perform thorough analysis of cost variances and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive month-end close activities and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders, communicating complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Design and implement effective cost-saving initiatives, leveraging tools like Power BI for enhanced transparency.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly planning cycles, driving business growth through strategic financial planning.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve financial queries and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cost control and/or accounting roles, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with labor cost structures and EBA knowledge (desirable).
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, with Power BI or ERP system expertise a plus.
  • Commercial acumen and proactive approach to supporting business success.
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently progressing (desirable).
