Job Overview

The Inventory Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by effectively managing inventory levels and optimizing stock control systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory management: Monitor and control inventory levels to guarantee adequate stock for business operations
  • Trend analysis: Develop trend reports to support root cause analysis and identify areas for improvement
  • Forecasting: Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, and mitigate potential shortages or overstock situations
  • Process optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives and implement refinements to inventory control procedures
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory status, supply chain performance, and operational efficiency for upper management

Requirements:

  • Leadership skills: Proven ability to provide direction and support to the team
  • Inventory expertise: Previous experience in inventory management with a strong understanding of inventory management software and systems
  • Technical skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities and experience using ERPs with SAP advantageous
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good numerical ability
  • Organizational skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records
