Essential Qualifications:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or a higher qualification or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA)
  • A current and valid BlueCard
  • A First Aid & CPR certificate (including training in asthma and anaphylaxis)

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • The ability to guide, mentor, and provide direction to other educators
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and assessing educational programs
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a Lead Educator, Room Leader, or similar role
  • The ability to create an environment where all children can thrive and learn
  • Proficiency in using Storypark for children's documentation and communication
