At Central Adelaide Local Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Triage Clinician to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide mental health nursing care in a variety of settings across the Mental Health Clinical Program. With consolidated experience and/or further study, they will demonstrate ongoing practice development from competent to proficient practitioners.

The role is predominantly clinical in nature, however, clinicians may be assigned portfolios consistent with their career development plan and program priorities. They may also be required to be involved in clinical teaching and/or research, as well as wider or external work on complex projects such as clinical protocols, guidelines, and process mapping.

About the Team

We are part of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, which includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct. We deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at various locations across the metropolitan and regional areas.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and skills, including:

  • Registration as a RN-2 or AHP-2 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing or allied health practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
