Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network.
As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality mental health nursing care in various settings across the network.
Your practice will be consolidated by experience and/or further study, and you will demonstrate ongoing practice development from competent to proficient practitioners.
Key Responsibilities- Providing recovery-oriented consumer support in a community setting
- Assessing individual consumers' needs, planning, and implementing or coordinating appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options
- Medication management/education for consumers
- Using foundation theoretical knowledge and evidence-based guidelines to achieve agreed consumer care outcomes
- Demonstrated competence in a community setting
- Demonstrated experience and skills in assessment, planning care, evaluation of care, and counseling
- Experience in basic computing skills
- Experience in a broad range of mental health clinical settings
- Familiarity with administering Long Acting Injections (trainings provided)
