About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality mental health care to patients in our Rural and Remote Inpatient Units.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering integrated clinical mental health care to consumers, you will work collaboratively with other disciplines and agencies to meet individual health care needs. Your expertise will be used to plan and coordinate services, while ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health services.

Requirements

  1. Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  2. Hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate
  3. Demonstrated competence in mental health nursing, in accordance with appropriate standards of practice
  4. Commitment to providing consumer and family-centred care
  5. Effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
