A Day in the Life

Our Neurovascular business is growing, and we have an exciting new role to partner with our hospital customer networks and drive territory sales revenue for South Australia and Tasmania.

Medtronic Neurovascular develops and markets leading medical technology, services, and solutions to treat patients afflicted with Acute Ischemic and Haemorrhagic Stroke worldwide. You'll drive a successful territory and make a difference in patients' lives.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Developing and implementing sales and business plans for specific hospitals across South Australia & Tasmania.
  • Establishing strong and ethical relationships with key interventional neuro-radiologists, neurosurgical, radiology, and nursing staff and administration personnel.
  • Ensuring the highest level of expertise is attained and maintained by developing and maintaining comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge.
  • Providing meaningful reports, sales forecasts, and funnel updates to your National Sales and Business Managers.
  • Inventory management, including consignment.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing, or Business-related discipline is essential.
  • Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a success track record in the medical devices.
  • Strong understanding of the Australia public and private healthcare system and experience working within Operating Theatres.
  • Solid clinical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff.
