Job Overview

The Industrial HVAC Technician Senior role involves leading a team of assembly members in the efficient and accurate production of high-performance HVAC units. This position requires advanced proficiency in HVAC assembly, with experience in carpentry, construction, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion safety procedures and adhere to them strictly
  • Act as a subject matter expert in HVAC construction assembly within 6 months of hire
  • Mentor junior team members and ensure the efficient assembly of HVAC units
  • Develop and implement best practices for assembly processes
  • Identify gaps in training and suggest fixes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve challenging assembly issues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or assembly of HVAC units
  • Experience leading projects and teams required
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform job functions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Willingsness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
