Key Role: Refrigeration Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and qualified professional to join our team as a Refrigeration Technician.

  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical HVAC systems in commercial and council sites across Melbourne.
  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems in accordance with Australian Standards.
About the Position

The primary purpose of this position is to perform routine maintenance tasks, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs on HVAC systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

  • Working on government and commercial sites;
  • Performing preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis;
  • Engaging with clients and site supervisors in a professional manner;
  • Completing documentation and complying with site-specific safety requirements;
  • Servicing and repairing Mechanical HVAC systems (e.g., Central Plants, Package Units, Split Systems).
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • D Grade Electrical Permit;
  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration;
  • Police Check & Working With Children Check (Mandatory);
  • White or Red OH&S Card and Working at Heights Certification;
  • Current Refrigerant Handling Licence and Victorian Driver's Licence;
  • Strong Communication Skills And A Self-Motivated, Professional Attitude.
