About The Role

The primary objective of this position is to undertake maintenance, repairs and servicing on mechanical HVAC systems in line with Australian Standards.

This exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join the team. A position is also open for a 4th year apprentice looking to develop their career further.

As a skilled trade professional, you will work on government and commercial sites performing preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis. You will engage with clients and site supervisors in a professional manner, completing documentation and complying with site-specific safety requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working on government and commercial sites
  • Performing preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis
  • Engaging with clients and site supervisors in a professional manner
  • Completing documentation and complying with site-specific safety requirements
  • Servicing and repairing Mechanical HVAC systems (e.g. Central Plants, Package Units, Split Systems)

Requirements:

  • D Grade Electrical Permit
  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
  • Police Check and Working With Children Check (Mandatory)
  • White or Red OH&S Card and Working at Heights Certification
  • Current Refrigerant Handling Licence and Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Strong Communication Skills and a Self-Motivated, Professional Attitude
