About the Role
As a Senior Data Governance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Data Governance framework that ensures data quality, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce data practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing data governance principles, processes, and solutions to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
- Developing and maintaining process controls and assessments for data-related compliance activities, such as data impact assessments.
- Providing practical solutions to stakeholders to align data accountability standards and manage interdependencies with other data management teams.
- Streamlining controls and processes to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance with data regulations.
- Conducting data-related compliance activities with stakeholders to assist them in meeting their duties.
- Overseeing data management, including roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, controls, and processes in the Data Governance Framework.
- Developing and implementing data quality initiatives to ensure high-quality data in data management.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Proven knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data management practices, including data-related regulatory requirements.
- A good understanding of data architecture and conceptual data lineage and data visualization.
- Strong analytical, numerical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Good business analysis skills, including elicitation techniques and the ability to define requirements in complex environments.
- Ability to explore customer needs in a data-driven way and develop innovative solutions.
