Job Overview

As a Senior Project Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in supporting project planning and scheduling of our multi-discipline projects portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proactive mindset to make the role their own and contribute to the success of our team.

We are looking for a skilled professional who can develop and maintain project schedules to agreed project scope, milestones, and timelines using critical path methodology.

The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering design consultancy, preferably with tertiary qualification or trade qualification in a related field.

They will be experienced in using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Professional and possess strong knowledge of project delivery lifecycle phases - engineering, procurement, and construction.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to agreed project scope, milestones, and timelines.
  • Resource load and level schedules to produce resource histograms.
  • Effective management of schedule development, progressing, baselining, and change management processes.
  • Accurate and regular monitoring of progress to date and forecast to complete durations versus the schedule baseline.
  • Provide weekly summary reports at a project and portfolio level highlighting any identified trends or areas of concerns and subsequent recovery actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project schedules are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Engineering and design consultancy experience preferred.
  • Experience in using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Professional.
  • Tertiary qualification or trade qualification in a related field.
  • Project scheduling experience in engineering design, EPCM, and EPC environments.
  • Full understanding of project delivery lifecycle phases - engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Knowledge of risk management and contingency planning.
  • Understanding of Project Controls principles - earned value management and progress measurement.
