Program Coordinator

This role involves coordinating multiple complex projects, developing a standardised framework and supporting project managers in maintaining individual project schedules.

The Program Coordinator creates and maintains an integrated program schedule, identifies interdependencies, manages capacity constraints, and facilitates regular schedule review meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a centralised view of resources required for projects using forecasting or planning methodologies.
  • Using scheduling software to develop and update project and program schedules.
  • Identifying interdependencies across projects and planning for resource requirements.
  • Tracking progress and addressing issues that could cause delays.
  • Facilitating schedule review meetings with project managers and team members.
  • Ensuring schedules are realistic and align with financial and time constraints.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in scheduling complex programs within a public sector organisation.
  • Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams with conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to develop and implement scheduling frameworks, strategies, and policies specific to programs.
  • Experience in identifying and managing scheduling risks, issues, dependencies, and budget.
