Job Description

You'll ensure the preparation and management of weddings and social events exceed guest expectations while achieving sales targets. You'll work closely with the Event Planning team to plan and execute events for the weddings and social markets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Wedding & Social Event Leads and Conversion

  • Plan and Execute Events for Weddings and Social Markets

  • Assist with Departmental Month End Reports

  • Look After Personal 'Repeat Business' Contracts from Enquiry to Execution

  • Conduct Hotel Site Inspections for Prospective and Existing Clients

  • Ensure All Details of Upcoming Events are Communicated Internally

  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service at All Times

  • Assist with Corporate Events Where Necessary

Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Hospitality / Event Management or Related Business Education

  • Previous Sales Experience with a Five-Star Hotel or Deluxe Wedding Reception Venue

  • Understanding of Different Cultural Needs for Weddings

  • Sound Knowledge of the Wedding and Leisure Market Segments

  • Strong Attention to Detail, Organisational and Time Management Skills

  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills

  • Well-Developed Computer Skills in MS Office, Event Management Software and Room Management Systems
