About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Operations Specialist to join our Fusion Control Room team. As an Oracle Fusion support and development specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and monitoring the Control M job scheduling system to ensure timely execution of scheduled jobs.

Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving issues, providing technical support and guidance to end-users, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define job scheduling requirements, and developing and maintaining basic scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes.

You will also be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, such as job cleanup and system configuration updates, and documenting job scheduling procedures, configurations, and scripts for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field
  • Experience working with Control M job scheduling system in a production environment
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python etc
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously
