Senior Mechanical/Piping Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical/Piping Designer to join our team in Perth In this role, you will effectively be responsible for technical deliverables working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely, cost effective and fit for purpose engineering and design output complying with company requirements.

Your focus will include:

• Delivery of technically acceptable design services for approved work to ensure the development of high levels of client satisfaction and Clough's business needs.
• Work with engineering specialists to ensure specification compliance, technical integrity of design (technical performance).
• Prepare, check and file design documents, deliverables and other design information.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of systems across the division.
• Support customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomes.
• Liaise regularly with manager to report progress, areas of concern / issues and potential changes.

What you will bring to the team:

• Experience within a Senior Design role, within engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in one or more of the following sectors – Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals and Infrastructure / Utilities.
• Strong EPC (greenfield and brownfield) experience
• Experience in; 
  • 3D modeling and generating MTOs
  • pipe isometrics and other drawings
  • independent starter of piping layouts, apply adequate separations complying with standards and relevant legislation
  • piping specs / catalogue development in SMAT
  • Bulkload / pipe catalogue activities
  • project S3D administration
• Be proficient in;
  • Microsoft Office
  • Auto Cad
  • Microstation
  • Smart 3D
  • SMAT
  • Navisworks
  • Open plant/plant 3d - desirable
