The Department for Health and Wellbeing seeks a senior leader to drive the strategic vision for SA Health and improve health outcomes for Aboriginal South Australians. As the Director, Aboriginal Health Partnerships and Engagements, you will oversee the development and delivery of Aboriginal health engagement and partnerships across SA Health.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Murra Partners in driving transformational reforms that deliver on Closing the Gap and SA Aboriginal Health Care Framework. You will lead community involvement and partnerships with Aboriginal people, families, and communities to impact system-wide policy and project initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable the delivery of transformational reforms that deliver on Closing the Gap and SA Aboriginal Health Care Framework.
  • Promote and lead community involvement and partnerships with Aboriginal people, families, and communities.
  • Lead the creation of quality partnership and engagement policies, practices, and governance processes.
  • Achieve required divisional performance targets and objectives.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior Leader with an understanding of health issues facing the sector and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait community. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking with a focus on Aboriginal health and wellbeing.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic working relationships with stakeholders.
  • High-level skills in analysing and conceptualising problems.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
