About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at McMillan Shakespeare Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities in the fleet and asset management space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed new business targets
  • Identify and pursue greenfield leads and opportunities to maintain a continuous pipeline of current and future prospects
  • Actively manage client relationships to facilitate the successful acquisition of new customers
  • Capture, track, and report on all sales activity, including lead generation and pipeline activity
  • Pursue professional representation and involvement in industry forums and events to develop legitimate business relationships
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior B2B sales, with a thorough understanding of fleet, finance, or asset management
  • Results-oriented sales professional with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong strategic relationship building capability and sound commercial acumen
  • Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to cope with competing demands and prioritize outcomes
