Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. This role will be responsible for overseeing the HR function across six City of Sydney Aquatic and Leisure Centres, reporting directly to the Regional Manager.
About the Role
This is a key leadership position that requires a high level of expertise in HR generalist functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, policy development, and administration. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver a range of HR services to support the business objectives of Belgravia Leisure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the recruitment process for the contracts, ensuring a steady pipeline of candidates to meet workforce requirements;
- Develop and implement annual workforce plans to drive business outcomes;
- Manage training and development programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge;
- Ensure effective onboarding and induction processes for new staff members;
- Provide guidance and support to Centre Leaders on people-related queries;
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of contract performance;
- Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A high level of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders;
- Ability to identify suitable candidates to ensure a strong workforce pipeline;
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work collaboratively with Centre Leaders and other stakeholders;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives;
- Flexible to work out of all six sites as needed.
What We Offer
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $95,000 per annum, plus benefits including a national police check and Working with Children check.
