About the Role

Johnson & Johnson Australia and New Zealand is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist - Employee Relations to join our team on a 15-month fixed-term contract.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a skilled HR professional to make a meaningful impact in shaping our organization's employee relations strategies and policies. The successful candidate will work closely with our HR business partners to provide expert advice and support on all employee-related matters, ensuring that our workforce remains engaged, motivated, and productive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising and managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, performance management, and grievances
  • Reviewing and updating employee relations policies to ensure compliance with legislative changes
  • Drafting and reviewing employment documentation
  • Managing workplace investigations for a range of matters
  • Supporting employee and labour relations project work, including risk management, compliance, and process improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in human resources or employee relations, preferably within Australia and/or New Zealand. You will possess relevant qualifications in industrial relations, law, or commerce and have a demonstrated history of developing strong business partnerships and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of employment and labour laws
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to undertake self-directed research and work autonomously
