Seeking a seasoned tax lawyer for a 12-month parental cover contract in Sydney.

The successful candidate will specialize in indirect tax, working closely with senior practitioners and highly regarded partner Keshni Maharaj.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented junior lawyer to join a supportive team working on high-profile transactions.

As a member of the team, you will have significant exposure to clients, assisting with key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and drafting.

You will also work collaboratively with peers across other practice groups within the firm.

Key Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' post-qualified experience in tax matters;
  • GST and/or stamp duty expertise;
  • A strong academic record;
  • The ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects and manage expectations effectively;
  • A strong client service focus and work ethic;
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills required for building client relationships and maintaining a positive team environment;
  • An ambitious and focused determination to advance your career.
