Indirect Tax Lawyer Role

The firm's leading Tax practice has an excellent opportunity for a skilled lawyer to join the Sydney team on a 12-month parental cover contract.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented junior lawyer to work closely with highly regarded partner Keshni Maharaj and other senior practitioners across our broader Transactions group, specialising in Indirect Tax (stamp duty and GST) transactions.

  • GST and/or stamp duty experience required;
  • At least 2 years' post-qualified experience across a range of tax matters;
  • A strong academic record and ambition to advance your career;
  • Excellent client service focus and work ethic;
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;

This role offers significant exposure to clients, assisting and working on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and drafting. You will also work collaboratively with peers across other practice groups within the firm.
