Indirect Tax Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Indirect Tax Lawyer to join our team on an initial 12-month parental cover contract.

The successful candidate will specialise in Indirect Tax and work closely with senior practitioners across the broader Transactions group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and work on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and drafting.
  • Collaborate with peers across other practice groups within the firm.
  • Develop strong client relationships.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' post-qualified experience across a range of tax matters in a commercial law firm;
  • Experience in GST and/or stamp duty;
  • A strong academic record;
  • The ability to prioritise time across multiple busy matters and manage expectations;
  • A strong client service focus and work ethic;
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills required for building client relationships and maintaining a positive team environment;
  • An ambitious determination to advance your career.
