An established and highly regarded Sydney commercial and private client law firm is seeking to appoint a Partner (or Special Counsel) to join their Sydney practice with both succession and further growth in mind.

The Opportunity

• This is a soft landing for an established or aspiring Partner, with clients to inherit on day one. You will be responsible for continuing to service but also grow this portfolio.
• Assist in leading and further develop a Private Client & Tax practice within a supportive, ethical and traditional environment.
• Work with ultra high-net-worth individuals, family groups, family offices, and business owners on complex tax, structuring, estate planning, and succession matters.
• Shape the growth of the practice with genuine autonomy, backed by a team of talented and well-established lawyers.
• Benefit from deep-rooted referrers from the Big 4, mid-tier and boutique accounting firms, financial advisers and other law firms.

About You

• Admitted lawyer with a strong track record in private client tax, estate planning, or related areas.
• Currently operating at Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner level, with the capability to drive client relationships.
• Well-connected in the market with an existing or portable client base (however, growth potential and networks are equally valued).
• Collaborative, commercially minded, and motivated.
