Indirect Tax Lawyer Position

We are seeking an exceptional junior tax lawyer to fill a 12-month parental cover contract position.
About the RoleThis is a unique chance for a talented junior lawyer to work closely with highly regarded partner Keshni Maharaj and other senior practitioners across our broader transactions group.
As a member of the team, you will be exposed to clients, assisting and working on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and drafting.
You will have the opportunity to specialise in indirect tax (stamp duty and GST) and work collaboratively with peers across other practice groups within the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Specialising in indirect tax matters, including stamp duty and GST.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues from other practice groups.
- Assisting and working on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations and drafting.
- At least 2 years' post-qualified experience in tax matters.
- A strong academic record.
- The ability to prioritise time across multiple busy matters.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
