Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Industrial Operations Manager. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of a correctional centre, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethics and integrity in line with core values to train and supervise inmates as well as Quality control / inspection responsibilities to ensure compliance. You are also required to have sound computer knowledge, show strong resilience and have robust time management skills.

We are looking for an individual with proven trade experience and ability to diagnose and problem solve. You must be able to train, motivate and supervise staff. A willingness to work across varying trades and ability to multitask to achieve operational goals is essential. Additionally, you should be prepared to undertake relevant training as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Minimum current Certificate III or greater in relevant trade qualification
  • Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required
