Accounting Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting professional to join our team. As a key player in enabling our next phase of growth, you will be responsible for ensuring client work is completed in a timely manner and providing expert advisory services to clients.

The successful applicant will have at least 4 years' experience in a public practice environment, with a strong background in accounting software and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with partners and team members to ensure client work is completed efficiently.
  2. Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, working closely with partners to deliver high-quality results.
  3. Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
  4. Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for various entities, including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs.
  5. Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory services and solutions to add long-term value to our clients.
  6. Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of any issues.
  7. Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Expertise using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving goals.
