We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in enabling our organisation's next phase of growth.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years' experience in a public practice environment, with expertise in accounting software, including APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks.

  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
  • Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
  • Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory service and solutions to add long-term value
  • Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events

What You Need to Succeed
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
