About Senior Accountant Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs;
  2. Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory service and solutions to add long-term value;
  3. Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients;
  4. Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner;
  5. Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development;
  6. Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients;
  7. Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events;
  8. Help provide exceptional service to our clients;
  • Suitable Candidate:
  1. Must have at least 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice;
  2. Hold a Chartered Accountant qualification or be in progress;
  3. Have expertise using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks;
  4. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  5. Show strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
  6. Be committed to providing exceptional service to our clients;
  7. Be proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic;
