We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing accounting firm, providing expert advisory services to clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for leading and reviewing the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs. You will also collaborate with partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner.

  • Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements and income tax returns
  • Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory services and solutions to add long-term value
  • Lead and review staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Expertise using accounting software, including APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
