Children's Sales Manager, Education and Trade
About the Role:We are dedicated to publishing exceptional books for children and young adults. Our portfolio includes renowned publishers from Australia, as well as bestselling titles from our international partners.
This role will involve developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies across schools, libraries, and trade channels to boost revenue and market presence.
You will establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in education, library, and trade sectors to understand customer needs and capitalise on sales opportunities.
You will oversee a portfolio of accounts including clubs and fairs, library suppliers, educational suppliers, specialist children's bookshops, and head office clients.
In collaboration with the Sales Director, you will identify new channel opportunities and build a network of contacts by attending industry events and conferences.
This role will also be responsible for maintaining and promoting an online education hub and creating promotional materials that highlight the educational value of our titles for key clients.
We are seeking a candidate with a genuine passion for children's literature and experience in publishing sales, library, or education channels.
Essential skills include exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to deliver compelling sales pitches to both individual clients and larger audiences.
Key Requirements:- Degree in English, Literature, Education, or related field
