Student support is a vital component of our educational environment, empowering young adults to achieve their academic goals. At Homestead Senior Secondary College, we offer a broad range of studies at Year 10, VCE, VCEVM, VET & other programs.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role.
  • Work and collaborate with others in a team environment, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively in a team environment, possessing high-level oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position, enabling informed decision-making and advice provision.
  • Provide advice and support to management and other school staff in respect to the work area.
  • Commit to professional learning and growth for both self and others, driving organisational performance and student outcomes.

Role Details:

As an education support class position, tasks will be performed in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction. This may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
