Job Description:

The Centre Director is responsible for leading a high-performing early childhood service. This role requires strategic leadership, operational management, and staff development to maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a centre director role and a strong background in building occupancy. They will be young, energetic, and well-versed in current industry practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Operational Management:
      • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
      • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment.
    • Staff Leadership and Development:
      • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
      • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
    • Curriculum and Program Development:
      • Develop and oversee the implementation of educational programs that promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children.
      • Ensure programs are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with best practices in early childhood education.
    • Family and Community Engagement:
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
      • Organize and participate in community outreach activities and events to promote the centre and its programs.
