About the Role

As a Financial Controller at Goldman Sachs, you will play a critical role in ensuring the firm meets all financial control and reporting obligations. Our professionals measure the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firm's business. This includes maintaining the books and records for the firm's subsidiaries, preparing reporting packages under US GAAP, and ensuring that control standards are maintained and documented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the firm's subsidiaries
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements under US GAAP
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and implement financial control procedures to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, with working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel
