Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team and help build our finance function. As a Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in driving strategy through financial insights, analysis, and collaboration with our founders.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain financial models to predict cash flow, revenue, expenses, and burn
- Prepare and publish monthly financial documents to ensure they meet standard best practices
- Design and implement efficient finance operations, including financial controls, approving invoices, processing payroll, and managing employee cards
- Manage external bookkeepers and tax accountants
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in a financial controller role
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field
- CPA or CA preferred
- Excellent knowledge of financial planning and analysis
- In-depth understanding of month-end reporting, preparing financial statements, and bookkeeping
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
