We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Acusensus. Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Partner with the Chief Financial Officer to introduce, maintain, and control a scalable financial management system and controls.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Audit and Compliance: Manage the half-year and full-year audit process, relationship with auditors, and assist with reporting to the Audit Committee.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to financial reporting and disclosure in the jurisdictions Acusensus operates (Australia, UK, and US).
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Oversee tax compliance and planning across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely filings and optimal tax strategies.
- Financial Reporting: Coordinate and lead the month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial records.
- Financial Analysis and Guidance: Provide financial management reporting, analysis, and guidance to support the executive team and Board.
- Process Improvement: Assist in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional Certifications: CA, CPA, or other relevant professional certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years experience with audit and ASX listed company background.
- Leadership Experience: Management and leadership experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting standards, particularly those associated with technology and manufacturing companies. Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Netsuite, Excel, and financial reporting platforms.
- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of driving process improvements, implementing best practices, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
