**Job Description:**
The role of an APS5 Establishment Officer is multifaceted and involves establishment, position management, and transactional work in the integrated Defence workforce. You will interpret legislative frameworks, policy, and procedures to provide advice.
Key responsibilities include conducting specialist research and analysis, organising workflow, making independent decisions, coordinating team efforts for self-improvement, resolving HR information system anomalies, processing complex proposals, updating data, and liaising with stakeholders.
Leadership roles such as a team coach or supervisor involve setting work priorities, allocating tasks, managing workflows and performance.
You will be part of the APS Establishments team providing comprehensive APS Establishment management, validation, and data entry of all PMKeyS position transactions.
We are looking for someone who can build productive working relationships, collaborate to achieve business objectives, possess good analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience mentoring and providing guidance to a team in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
As an APS5 Establishment Officer, you will work collaboratively to enhance business outcomes through strategic planning, process improvements, and effective communication. This involves prioritising tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and contributing to ongoing professional development.
