Randstad is currently seeking several experienced Security officer APS5 to join a high-performing federal government team.

Canberra, ACT | 6 months l Baseline Clearance

Position description

  • Evaluate the suitability of stakeholder personnel through comprehensive interviews and the preparation of detailed case assessments.
  • Administer and coordinate background screening processes, including identity verification, police checks, and security clearance applications.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for temporary access and eligibility assessments, ensuring timely submission for delegate approval.
  • Deliver expert advice and practical guidance to internal and external stakeholders on clearance processes and compliance matters.
  • Provide operational support and recommendations on personnel and protective security issues.
  • Partner with team leaders to develop, implement, and refine security strategies and initiatives to enhance overall protective security standards.
